Apartment in Paseo San Juan tucked within a 19th-century modernist building on Barcelona’s vibrant boulevard, YLAB Arquitectos has transformed a neglected flat into a luminous, highly functional home. Moreover, by preserving its protected heritage features—most notably the original Nolla mosaic floors and ornate ceilings—the design seamlessly merges historical charm with today’s lifestyle needs.
Llull apartment was open to the public during Barcelona Design Week 2019. The event was presented thanks to the collaboration of prestigious international design companies such as Franke, Bticino, JNF, Hobby Flower, Fusteria Gurdó, Admonter, Delta Light, Ikebe, Silent Gliss, Novy and Cristina.
The project consists of the interior design of the Edge Innovation Center, a new aspirational and status business destination in Egypt. It is located in Giza’s Galleria40, a brand new retail and business complex.
The project consist of the refurbishment of an apartment located in an old building at the Barcelona Gracia district. The former 90 m2 apartment, was strongly partitioned with up to 6 rooms and showed a dark appearance with almost no connection with the outdoor space.
The project consists of the interior reform of a former gatekeeper residence, located on the roof of a building in the Barcelona district Gracia. Enjoying a privileged location overlooking the neighboring buildings and surrounded by a large terrace, this apartment showed serious deficiencies such as its small size of 38 m2.
