Marco Sette Architecture studio led the transformative renovation of the Alperia headquarters, located in the historic Dodiciville district of Bolzano. The studio masterfully incorporated principles of sustainability and environmental consciousness into every aspect of the design, reflecting the company’s commitment to eco-friendly practices.
The striking architectural feature of the building is its grand eleven-meter-high glass facade, which includes a seven-meter-high entrance made of a single piece of triple-layered glass. This impressive design element not only enhances the building’s aesthetic appeal but also serves as a symbol of the company’s dedication to environmental sustainability. The use of triple glass optimizes thermal efficiency, reducing energy consumption for heating and cooling.
Inside, the headquarters continues to embody the principles of harmonious integration with the natural environment. The interior design features locally sourced wood and stone, contributing to the sustainability of the project while also fostering a connection to the local landscape and cultural context. The decor is complemented by artistic elements such as forest-themed prints and relief sculptures in the bathrooms, which emphasize the nature-inspired aesthetic.
The building is also equipped with state-of-the-art electrical systems and “SMART” technology solutions. These innovations support a dynamic work environment and align with Alperia’s goals of achieving energy efficiency and reducing the ecological footprint. The SMART systems allow for intelligent management of resources, from lighting to heating, ensuring operations are as sustainable as possible.
