In 2012, Sophie returned to her native home of Westmount, where she founded RobitailleCurtis with husband and American architect, Andrew Curtis. Supported by her academic background in environmental sciences, Sophie’s practice is an expression of a passion for the protection and vital beauty of the natural environment, together with a conviction that construction must be executed responsibly, for durability, and with a clear sense of enduring beauty and social purpose.
