About Soren Rose Studio
Multi-talented Danish designer Søren Rose started his career as an entrepreneur and creative director – setting up one of Scandinavia’s most successful web companies, among other enterprises. In 2008, he fulfilled a life-long dream by opening a design studio in New York. Today, he is one of New York’s most in-demand designers, with an outpost in Copenhagen.
We run a flat organization, so if the junior designer has the best idea that’s what we go with. We worship high quality and sustainable materials, and approach our work with both traditional and innovative craftsmanship. This is the makeup and moving force behind Soren Rose Studio.
We proudly have the capacity to provide our interiors clients with any level of service they require. Everything from designing a sink for their existing home to drawing their future home is within our purview. We have the benefit of using these big projects as inspiration to design furniture and products. Much of our furniture starts as limited editions and evolves into commercially viable products, which we then license through leading manufactures.

Utilizing only six natural materials and elements: stone, glass, wood, steel, tile and water; this Park Avenue penthouse apartment is being entirely rebuilt from the top down. The entire roof of the building has been raised to make way for the addition of a new mezzanine level.
This duplex Penthouse with rooftop is located in the heart of TriBeCa on one of the few original cobblestone streets. The owner of the building has Scandinavian roots so it was natural to have a very clean Nordic approach to the interior design.
Most lofts are dark in the middle, but this space has windows on three sides, plus an enormous skylight creating this amazing light Scandinavian minimalism that we love. In the old days it was a paper factory, and in the old oak floors you could see the oil stains and mounting screws from where the machines had been.
