After a characteristically steep climb to the former storage attic of this building you enter in the heart of the loft. The skylight creates extra daylight in the darkest part of the house and is the foundation for a future home extension on the roof.
Studiospacious was established by Coen Smit and Freddy Koelemeijer, two young architects with more than 10 years experience in designing buildings for cities.
With a no-nonsense attitude and a hands-on approach, we work on small and medium sized projects. Studiospacious is engaged in competitions and projects in the fields of architecture, urban design, interior design and furniture design.
Our work is distinguished by combining unexpected design solutions with simplicity. Innovative elements and contemporary solutions are added to 'the existing' to create characteristic and practical spaces and buildings.
Designed by Studiospacious, restaurant Floreyn recently opened its doors in Amsterdam. In the Netherlands, we tend to suffer from a minority complex when it comes to local cuisine. We have trouble stretching our imagination beyond meatballs and mashed potatoes.
