About Garrett Rowland
Garrett Rowland specializes in interiors and architectural photography. He splits his time between New York and California (with frequent stopovers in ATL, CHI, DAL, WAS, HOU, MIA, VA, SEA, DCA, POR…).
Since he was young, Garrett’s itchy trigger finger has pointed towards a career in photography. He left his hometown of Sonoma, CA to attend Pratt Institute in New York, and bounced to Queens before starting a family back in Brooklyn. Last year, he and his family set out to make new tracks in San Francisco- never fully saying goodbye to any past home.
Garrett’s photography spans from residential, office and hospitality to product and lifestyle. His work has been featured in a range of publications including Interior Design magazine, Architectural Digest, Contract, Dwell, Metropolis, New York Times, New York Post, gb&d and Homes… and a cameo appearance as “Photographer” on HGTV’s Selling New York.
When not shooting, he can be found on a mountain, a set of wheels, or running alongside his dog, Posey.

The ongoing collaboration between VMAD and West Elm works extremely well. The new West Elm offices is a beautiful representation of a growing brand, their design partner’s creativity and the success of their brand values.
An existing 1830 farmhouse located in historic Hyde Park, NY underwent a full-gut renovation to transform into a Rustic Modern retreat. A speculative project in collaboration with custom-home builder, Wolcott Builders, the two-story house sits on 36 acres and is surrounded by three large barns and a pond.
Gensler has designed the new headquarters of e-commerce company Etsy, located in Brooklyn, New York City. Etsy Offices is designed to showcase their culture of treating “Code as Craft”. Blurring the lines between workplace and habitat, Etsy’s new 200,000-square-foot headquarters is on track to become one of the largest Living Building Challenge Petal-Certified projects in the world.
Greenwich Street Apartment is a single-family residence redesigned by Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design. The apartment is located in the TriBeCa district of New York.
