Owen and Tom, a young professional couple, engaged Sandbox Studio to transform their rundown Victorian terrace in Paddington, Sydney, into a modern home, while restoring its heritage character.

The latest project by Sandbox Studio is a compact ‘forever house’ designed for a couple of retirees. Its environmental design and space-efficient planning make excellent use of the site, allowing them to live near their children and give them room to roam.
Replacing an existing home within Picton, in New South Wales, the proposal retains some of the remaining foundations, reusing materials across the site in a more deliberate way.

Dave and Libby’s Gladesville House is a renovation of a Californian bungalow for a young family of five. The site is a large suburban block perched on the high side of Gladesville capturing distant views of gum trees and part of the Harbour and North Easterly breezes.
