Originally, the building was conceived as two entities; a production space on the ground floor and an owner’s flat on the first floor with a private access.

House BRAS is located on a lush green site abutting a pond in the middle of an old allotment in the suburbs of Antwerp. The house is designed to blend into its surrounding natural landscape.

Just before they bought the Silo apartment, I showed them my new office, which is also at the Kanaal-site (www.kanaal.be). They were impressed by the project and three days later, they bought the silo, which was an opportunity and a challenge for me!
