This is a three-floored house, located in Guangzhou’s old CBD, and it is a classic townhouse right next to a street, which results in a narrow shape. The Guangzhou house was built in 1919.
Rather than following the popular trend of industrial or Nordic interior style in China, Leaping Creative is inspired by fashion designers and their love for black and white as well as their trick of using dots, lines and planes. We aim to create a minimalist, intriguing dining space.
The Penthouse has five bedrooms, three living spaces, two kitchens and four bathrooms. The living room, with a 6 meter high double height space is located in the south, facing the Qiantang River. The spiral staircase is in the southeast corner, and the three sky terraces are connected to the secondary bedrooms, western kitchen and multi-functional room.
The project is located in a high-end residential community. In spite of the “high-end” positioning of the project, AD Architecture still endowed it with artistic features. Through feeling the beauty of pureness and quietness in space, the Studio created an elegant residence that purifies and eases people’s mind.
Invited by the Chinese space design and renovation TV program“Change your life”, TOPOS DESIGN CLANS designed an unique home art studio，which is an artland making life better. Wutopia Lab was invited by Shenzhen Biennale to rejuvenate the building NO.4 and building NO.5 in Dameisha Village. The urban-village is a slum with Chinese characteristics. Architects hope to break the invisible limit between the city and the village through the activation of the site.
The whole new Shanghai apartment is a symbolic text which contains castle, forest, sky, curtain, distorting mirror or space capsule (arc stainless steel), jigsaw (tile pattern in bathroom), stage, tent and greening wall.
