Gurdau Winery was founded in 2012 on a “green field”, with the planting of the first vines on the slopes above the village of Kurdějov. The village was historically one of the most important wine suppliers to the townspeople of Mikulov and Brno, as well as to the aristocratic courts in Moravia.
In collaboration with Zoku’s brand team, Concrete designed the interior design for all of the Zoku locations and is proud to have contributed to designing a new type of hotel that fosters interaction and a sense of community.
The interior of the understated building was inspired by the speakeasy bars and restaurants found under the bridges in New York City, with crittall-style windows and a palette of raw metals, exposed concrete finishes and warm timber panelling.
The Bodrum Loft Hotel, embedded in its setting, is inspirational in how it blends into the landscape. Stones, excavated on the site, are re-purposed and used in façades, pedestrian walkways, retaining walls, and structural elements alike.
Comfort, flexibility, and functionality are pillars of The Hive, Co-Working Space at Birch Selsdon. With a warm neutral palette, walls are painted in a light stone with apricot and terracotta hues used around window and door frames
The WERK restaurant, occupying a large portion of the ground floor and extending into the exterior, has become an important meeting place and a vital element of the building and its surrounding area.
In the village of Shanwan in Wujiang District, Suzhou, the tranquillity of the idyllic town, the quiet expanse of the river and the historical culture blend. The Boatyard Hotel is located in this languid spatial landscape.
