The Breeze Blocks House is located at the furthest edge of a matured residential neighborhood in a hilly area of Semarang, Indonesia.
New construction of a single family house for a family of seven. The new two level building is organized around a lightwell on the entry level. The bedrooms are located to the northeast side, whilst the family room and kitchen are at the southwest side enjoying a view of the inlet beyond.

Designed for a couple seeking a space for contemplation and reflection, the house merges intimacy and openness through innovative architectural solutions.
This house represents a very common situation in São Paulo, a long and narrow ground [5.6×30.0m], with only the front elevation free of interference of the buildings around it. The challenge increased from the moment that we had to meet an extensive program for this area, which led us to maximum occupancy allowed, 170m2.
