This Salida Residence was designed as a primary residence for a family on a stunning rural site with 360-degree mountain views overlooking the Arkansas River, just outside of the art centered, mountain town of Salida, Colorado.
From the outset, it was clear that our client’s vision for their new home, Lake Wendouree House, was one that had environmentally sustainable design principles – specifically Passive House (Passiv Haus) standards at it’s core.
The proposed design was conceived in response to the clients’ desire to create a well-connected home, supportive of the multiple transitions of family life across several decades.
