Gallareta House / OJA – Organic and Joyful Architecture

Juan Segundo Díaz Dopazo always carried Patagonia in his heart. After studying architecture in Buenos Aires alongside María Ayelén Olivieri Martinez, he dreamed of returning south. That dream became real when he was invited to design cabins for his own parents—nestled in a hall of ancient Arrayanes trees on Lake Correntoso.

The A-Frame Club is a new hotel brand that takes design cues from 1970s American ski culture and the iconic A-frame cabins of that era. The first Club consists of 31 newly-constructed cabins along with a bar and restaurant in a historic saloon building in Winter Park, Colorado.

Folly off-grid cabin is a peculiar prototype built to serve as a conversation piece, lend interest to its surroundings through an architectural medium. It derives from a need to expand my thesis position on architecture; which explores Cohesion as the integration of contextual and pragmatic relevancy within different environments.
