Queen Anne House by DeForest Architects beautifully merges Tudor Revival charm with contemporary design. The owner, an artist, envisioned a home where her family could create and appreciate art while reinterpreting historical elements. The house’s classic proportions, intricate woodwork, and vibrant stained glass provided the perfect foundation for her creative aspirations.
A young couple asked DeForest to help create “a place to share with friends, a place for adventure and exploring, being a kid again, cooking together, experiencing nature and being part of something bigger.”
Located on the edge of Shevlin Park in Central Oregon, this 2,700 square foot residence was built as a modern weekend house from the urban bustle of Seattle and an eventual forever home for the owners.
