The Shah Residence is a substantial renovation and expansion of a 1927 bungalow in Travis Heights, Austin, Texas. The existing, 1000 sf building was rescued from dilapidation and delineated abstractly in stark white, and paired with a new, 1100 sf sculptural volume clad black-stained cypress, connected via a glass entry bridge.
The Farm presents a series of ancient walls embedded in a spectacular windswept headland. Generous openings work with an operable courtyard to moderate the climate. Out in the elements, and courtesy of a hospitable client, this house brings many people together. It is accessible and relaxed, yet affords privacy and offers constant engagement with its ever changing natural surroundings.

This compact double fronted Victorian workers cottage in set within a gritty one way street in Richmond – a stone’s throw from the MCG and just down from the corner of the infamous Royal Hotel. Unlike other boom style Victorian double front dwellings in Australian cities this cottage is compact and quaint.
A contemporary take on the Californian Bungalow, this is a new 3 bedroom home on a decent sized Northcote block. Northcote Mohawk House was designed by Statkus Architecture and was first place winner of the 2015 Architeam People’s Choice Award.
The site’s previous existence was a market garden with shelterbelts forming large outdoor rooms. Our client then planted part of the site with vineyards and fenced off paddocks for horses. He built a barn and a dressage arena.
Designed by YS Built, the Torres residence is a cool ultra-modern custom residence in Madrona neighborhood in Seattle, WA. It’s a 2400SF of high-quality home for a creative young family. The owner has been a creative director for companies like Microsoft and Nike.
Directed by an existing structure, we tried to make the project assimilate this structural interferences in a natural way in its external volume: the unevenness on the front facade was further accentuated by metal vertical louvers that help in the composition of the facade.
