Kenzo is a small apartment renovated by designer Olga Akulova with emphasis on industrial interior design.
In 2012 we saw this uninhabitable flat. Although the bones of the space were good,it was quite rough, so our builders gutted it. The house rose up as a frame-and-beam structure that allowed us to remove all un-loadbearing walls in the flat.
We have got two concrete pillons and two colums in the middle of the space. The uneven concrete colums were refined with plaster and painted with transparent lacquer. We organised the new space with drywalls and castom-made wooden furniture as approved in the new project. Implementation of the project took 18 months.
