The project for the House Alagado aims to be a positive part of this scenario and is located in Nova Prata do Iguaçu, in the floodplain of the Salto Caxias hydroelectric plant.
Nestled in a lush Pacific Northwest wooded landscape this 1954 home renovation included maintaining the primary structure of the house with a full re-envisioning of the spaces of daily life.
This house is the architect’s own house, which also includes the architecture office. So, the house is not only for private residence but also a visitable house by anybody.
Villa K340 is located in Vroondaal, situated in Madestein, a beautiful natural and recreational area adjacent to the dunes and the beaches near The Hague in The Netherlands.
Our role in transforming this family home was to reimagine the family areas and celebrate the connection between the house and the rear yard.
Creating a house with a very extensive program on a small plot is the great challenge we face in this project. The house is located in the municipality of L’Horta Nord very close to the city of Valencia.
The ambition of the project was to inscribe the owners’ joint experiences as a couple into the spatial character of the building, and provide a new context for their current life together as a family with two young boys.
