The office for 3Commas became one of the first projects of ZIKZAK Architects on Cyprus. Therefore, the team had to immediately immerse themselves in a new environment and understand the differences in the design process. After all, incorrectly set priorities at the beginning can lead to a missed deadline at the finish line. But the team coped with this challenge. A unique business process was developed specifically for the project, taking into account local factors. Finally, with some adjustments, it became the main business process for ZIKZAK Architects’ design projects in Cyprus.

The client wanted a modern and stylish office where employees could feel at home and be so comfortable that they would even want to wear slippers. At the same time, it was important to be mindful of the project budget and complete it within the shortest possible timeframe. In response to this request, the team proposed to preserve all existing elements of the building, not only external structures but also, where possible, partitions, finishes, lighting fixtures, and even electrical equipment. All new elements were placed with consideration of the existing ones: sometimes designers had to fight the habit of installing a socket next to a table, instead placing the table near the socket.

The designers got the vibe the client wanted right away. The overall mood of the room is a monochromatic light design with the use of corporate colors in furniture, decor, and focal elements with the inclusion of wooden textures. The 3Commas Office area of 422 m2 is zoned for reception, meeting rooms, a large open space, a waiting area, relaxation areas, lockers for storing slippers, a kitchen-dining room that can be transformed into a meeting room, and 7 phone booths. For the open space, a place was chosen with a view of a picturesque park with a Ferris wheel, which became a symbol of expanding horizons and acquiring new knowledge for the team. The office has a massage room with chairs like those at an airport. An unusual carpet covering, which creates a feeling of homely comfort, has been implemented, which is unusual for Cyprus.

The kitchen has a very comfortable sofa where you can sit comfortably even in slippers. From the kitchen, there is a view of a large terrace, typical of a Cypriot house, with a view of the city.

Each toilet cubicle is designed in a unique color, allowing you to enter a unique and vibrant environment from the white washroom.

The designers carefully approached the office greening scheme. The feeling of home comfort is complemented by indoor plants. An individual furniture design was developed specifically for them, which includes shelves and planters. A large number of plant compositions bring the aesthetics of ease and naturalness to the workspace.

The preservation of elements from the previous space in the 3Commas office by ZIKZAK Architects ensured the optimization of budget and timelines. The office space became stylish and cozy like a home for employees. Everyone can open their locker, put on slippers, and work comfortably, feeling like they are at home.
