La Antxoeta, is a casual style restaurant located in the heart of Soho in Málaga.
This is the project of Pablo Caballero, known by many as the chef of rock’n roll, which opened its doors in 2016.
This space offers a unique gastronomic proposal, in which the chef gives free rein to his imagination, virtuously prioritizing market cuisine and local products.
Respect for flavors and nuances is one of Caballero’s maxims, whose creations seek not to mask or disguise the raw material. For this reason, its changing menu always places a special focus on local and seasonal seafood products.
The design project for La Antxoeta Art Restaurant is by Interni Esterni (IE2), a local interior design studio that, integrated by Filippo Maria Medici and Omar Pacheco Rueda, has been providing its design projects with touches of originality, timelessness and non-conformity since 2009.
Pablo has become one of the gastronomic references in the area, with a very particular and cosmopolitan vision that, through avant-garde techniques, does not deny traditional cuisine.
He started in the world of gastronomy in his native Catalonia looking to travel and learn about different cultures. He has worked as head chef in different restaurants and hotels in cities such as Barcelona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Malaga, until in 2016, he launched his most personal project: La Antxoeta, a space conceived as a place to live again a true experience, enjoying cuisine with a Mediterranean soul and creative overtones.
