AR Design Studio is an award-winning RIBA certified contemporary architectural practice, based in Winchester, Hampshire, specialising in the delivery of elegant and imaginative modern new homes, extensions, renovations and multi-plot developments.
With a comprehensive knowledge of planning, the studio has built a stunning portfolio of completed residential projects from existing home extensions and re-modelling to new-builds and multi-plot developments. It is also a specialist designer of waterfront homes with a deep understanding of how to fully experience the light, sound and atmosphere water creates.
AR Design Studio is a Carbon Smart certified architectural practice, dedicated to designing contemporary designs that are sustainable and minimise their environmental impact. We are passionate about exploring the relationships between inside and outside spaces, between the man-made and nature. Specifically we specialise in the capture and retention of energy and light, the recycling of water, and the creation of a home that sits in harmony with its environment.
We recognise that it is our responsibility to build as sustainably as our clients’ budget, timeline and site allows. Therefore we exercise our professional skills to improve sustainability and minimise the environmental impact in so far as is possible within the instructions received from our clients.
