Esther founded Studio ST Architects in 2004 after five years at Pei Partnership Architects, working closely with Mr. I M Pei. She quickly established a reputation built on the firm’s commitment to making meaningful spaces and expanding the palette of forms and construction methods. In 2008 the firm was included in Wallpaper magazine’s list of “World’s 50 Hottest Young Architectural Firms.”

This Upper East Side apartment renovation project combined the client’s existing two-bedroom unit with the adjacent one-bedroom unit to create a spacious three-bedroom apartment.
