This modest 1,725 sf modern cabin is home to an outdoor enthusiast and local mariner. It is located on the north shore of Resurrection Bay just south of Seward, Alaska.
The massing of the Issaquah Highlands house is designed to take advantage of views and natural daylight while complimenting the scale of the surrounding community.
Completed as a collaboration between Studio Zerbey Architecture and Balance Associates Architects, the home was built by McMahon Construction. The natural modern home is sited carefully on a property that has a creek running through its backyard.
Recently completed, we designed this home for a family of four in the Nelson Preserve area of Suncadia, where the clients desired a home that hugged the landscape but had a peek-a-boo view of the vistas beyond.
