Ontwerpduo – Cageling : for moments of peace and relaxation

Ontwerpduo Cageling

‘Everybody’s a bird, locked up in a pretty cage. Sometimes you fly to a slightly bigger one, but you never quite have the courage to abandon captivity completely.’ — Dave McKean, Cages
Based on this philosophy, Ontwerpduo has created a rocking chair shaped as a cage where you can relax and dream. Named Cageling, this cage swing can be hang of a porch or of a tree branch in the garden, where it can offer you moments of peace and calmness. Because it is made out of steel, supposing it is used outdoors, it will not be affected by rain or sun. The color can be chosen according to the environment and your own style.
The cushions off the chair are made of felt and are available in a large number of colors. This swing turns us back to the joys of childhood and can look fantastic hanging of a large tree in the yard, hanging in the porch of the house or, why not, in the apartment. I think it fits anywhere and it will be immediately loved. Visit Ontwerpduo website.
