This magnificent farm house is situated in one of north Israel’s oldest cooperative communities (‘Moshav’). This 600 sqm farm house is the home to a couple in their late 40’s.
The light, color, and material from the outside enter the interior of the house thanks to ceramics and wood, two noble materials that are combined in a subtle and timeless way.
Provincetown’s ethos is centered around art and inclusiveness and has become a haven for people who want to get away, to simply be themselves. This home was originally built as a single family in 1853 and in the twentieth century was converted, like many others, into a guest house to accommodate P-town’s many new visitors.
The Residential plot is located in the heart of this urban sprawl, setting the architects up with a unique challenge of creating an appealing architecture that is to be appreciated by the public while protecting the client’s privacy at all times.
