Ecuestre House by Luciano Kruk 9

Ecuestre House / Luciano Kruk

Ecuestre House is located in Costa Esmeralda, 13 km north of the city of Pinamar and 4 hours away from the city of Buenos Aires. Its name makes reference to the stable and the two polo courses it is near to and, this area’s simple architecture has—maybe unconsciously—guided the concept of its design.

Moraleja Residence / Darro18 Arquitectos

Towards the north, the Moraleja Residence is structured through a series of volumes with turned back façades and slanted roofs that penetrate in the forest clearings. The overhanging volume of the family room on the first floor acts as an entrance canopy, inviting guests to enter the house.

Minimalist Mid-Century House With Plant-Covered Wall

Minimalist Mid-Century House With Plant-Covered Wall

This minimalist mid-century house was completed by Naturehumaine Architects in 2017. The first step for this detached house from the late 1940s was to open the rear facade onto the garden with a 24-foot (7.4 m) sliding bay window. By taking away the intermediary support element, this intervention removes the barriers to the outdoor terrace.

Reinforced Concrete House by Felipe Assadi Arquitectos

Reinforced Concrete House / Felipe Assadi Arquitectos

This project is a reinforced concrete house composed of a succession of longitudinal and transverse beams that work together to generate a single structural piece. As always, we prefer to inhabit a structure instead of structuring a room. In this way, we consider the technical feasibility of a project as its actual design resolution; feasibility is not separate from project design.
