This is a family home in the Wellington suburb of Whitby, sitting amongst manuka forest and overlooking a relatively undeveloped bush filled valley. The owners were inspired by this setting and wanted a home with spaces that nestled amongst the trees.

Located in São Paulo, the interior renovation project of this 800 square-meter house – with the original architecture designed by Studio MK27 and completed in 2005 – had as its premise the adaptation of the social wing to the new life stage of the residents.
Located in a private area and between two access roads, one for vehicles and the other one for pedestrians, the ”U” plan gently opens onto the lawn and palm trees, framing them and placing a pool in its center.
