In Greece we don’t say pasta we say macaroni! Dinner is served and guess what’s on the menu: a new appetizing project by studiomateriality. Macaroni is an up-and-coming pasta shop situated in the heart of Athens. The visual of such a place could not be plain or monotonous: starting with the logo, that is simple but yet effective. Depicting the classic pasta twirl on a fork, it’s an illustration that works as a mouthwatering trigger for any unsuspecting passerby.
The 70s font of the word ‘Macaroni’ complements the logo, constituting a vibrant element for all packaging variations. And the groove does not stop there; it fully expands to the interior of the pasta shop. Upon entering Macaroni, the customer faces the counter and has a full view of the open kitchen. The playful combo of red, pink and orange colors turns this limited space into a vibrant, funky area full of flavors. Whether you’re out on an urban adventure, or on a shopping spree, Macaroni is another spot to grab an unforgettable bite.
Don’t regretti, just eat some spaghetti.
