The project begins with the search of aspects related to a forest that can be applied to the design of this single-family house with two floors: vegetation, growth over time, large spaces, introverted spaces or overhead lighting, among others.

Located in the Mediterranean coast, this property is the result of the family need to expand the holiday residence. This Mediterranean beach house is fresh, cozy and illuminated, essential qualities to rest and disconnect during holidays.
This minimalist Spanish duplex is surrounded by five-storey blocks of flats and, consequently, the lack of privacy on the terraces, which would restrict extended use of these, worried the client. The decision was taken to use sliding aluminum slats on the front of the terraces which would filter the solar and visual impact of the exterior to create an environment with the required privacy.
This light-flooded penthouse wants to recreate a pleasant, special space. A space of enjoyment but, at the same time, versatile and flexible. A small break in the heights. Therefore, it has been organized in a diaphanous way, allowing our clients to organize and take advantage of it according to their needs.
After the initial ideas, we did a deep reflection between what the Concretus house should be on its own, and what it would be because of the place in which it’s framed, an impressive natural landscape facing the sea with a balcony looking over the Mediterranean.
