do mal o menos was founded in 2011 by architects and architectural photographers João Fôja and Eduardo Nascimento. Currently based in Lisbon, it is dedicated to the specialized production and editing of Architectural, Exhibition and Stage Design Photography.
We have continuously collaborated with various renowned Portuguese architects such as João Mendes Ribeiro and Ricardo Bak Gordon, along with a younger generation of distinguished talents.
Set out to develop a parallel structure among the major publishers, promoters and curators on contemporary architecture, whether online or in printed media, do mal o menos work has been featured in national and international publications such as 2G, A10, Domus, Phaidon, Jornal Arquitectos, Público, Arq’a, Frame Magazine, Dezeen, Archdaily, Divisare, among others.

Puppeteers House, Sintra, Portugal / REDO Architects
Located in Sintra, an area that is known for its romanticist palaces and gardens as well as its relative proximity to the sea, this project stands within the former Puppeteers’ Quarter.
Sun Tan Restaurant / Duarte Caldas + Mariana Peralta
Sun Tan is a project for a restaurant of about 70 m2, located in Bairro das Colónias, in Lisbon. The project is installed on the ground floor of a building constructed in the 1930s, included within Lisbon’s most significant set of Art Deco style architecture.
