Rene Linssen is one of the finalists at Reece Bathroom Innovation Award – BIA in 2014, a competition exclusively dedicated to design and specific bathroom supplies. Student at University from Canberra, concerned about physics, engineering and architecture, he made his entry into the design field with Sanctus project. Having a name derived from the Latin word for sanctuary, his elegant and futuristic design is based on a successful symbiosis between technology, design and functionality. Sanctus is a modern and sophisticated bathroom with a touch of luxury, centred on an integrated technology that allows you to set and have increased control over the atmosphere and bathroom experience.

This bathroom delights you with an interactive mirror that displays different messages, time and weather forecast, it stands for notebook and companion. Also, the bathroom has LED lighting, speakers and WiFi connectivity and also intuitive water controls. The design of the furniture is characterized by an ordered and airy geometry, with simple and smooth lines that allow a generous offer for storage space. I think Sanctus can provide unprecedented experiences in a bathroom until now, giving the user the joy of a special atmosphere.
