Situated in one of Vancouver’s oldest neighborhoods, this 3,000 sf single-family residence was commissioned for a family with two children who had purchased a 100-year old 3 unit building and wanted to convert it to their long-term home.
With breathtaking views of Howe Sound, this Bowen Island home is distinguished by its lush gardens, roof decks, and terraces gently descending to the Salish Sea.
The 2,150 square-foot Coal Harbour apartment originally felt much smaller due to a fragmented layout and jarring material palette. Strong, simple gestures resulted in a revised layout that opened up the living area while reconnecting the space with breath-taking views of the mountains, oceans and the city.
