The penthouse of this 1927 building was vacant for several years. It’s character and large expanses of glass that overlooked downtown Portland made it a desirable space for the re-location of this tech office.
Located in the same building as the Park Side residence which we completed four years prior, the original layout of the Park View residence was a mirror image of its predecessor.
This Poble Nou apartment home is a paradigmatic case of the urban and real state transformation that has been sweeping over the city and especially through this neighbourhood in the recent past. The industrial buildings and warehouses at Poble Nou offer “open plan” possibilities, natural light and ventilation in a spot that, as the city grows, is progressively becoming ever so centric.
The concrete apartment was created for the Mother of our client, we presented his interior NPL Penthouse two years before. Both are in a similar new concrete structure of houses. Both have a skyline view.
Le 13ème is a 250 sqm roof extension and water tank project situated in a dense area of Beirut and realised by the Brussel based office Notan Office led by Frédéric Karam. This roof extension is an extra apartment on a 12 floors tower.
A housing unit that due to Barcelona´s rising rental apartment demand was divided, as it happens with theatre plays, in three acts. Located in the very heart of Poblenou it manages to reflect the neighbourhood’s industrial character while sequentially unfolding its spaces in a narrative manner.
Located on the roof of a 12 storey building of a duplex apartment, this space was conceptualized as a ‘Veranda’. (Hindi meaning: A transitional space between public and private area or, between a house and a street). A concept, which conjures up an image of a welcoming social space meant for all.
