Pyramid House sits on the shore of Lake Päijänne, in the Municipality of Sysmä (Finland). This Finnish retreat has a total gross floor area of 125 smq, split between ground floor and mezzanine floor.
The White Snake house is a particular souvenir for the architect Pierre Minassian and his architecture studio AUM based in Lyon, France – a peculiar challenge of an exceptional construction of a home sculpted from concrete and glass perched on top of a lake.
The commission was clear: a home with two pavilions, one for Raúl and his latent family, another one for his parents. Two houses in one: independent and interdependent. Two open links that string together in a horizontal 8, symbol of the infinite, of eternal return.
This stylish penthouse is technically separate object played on top of the apartment building. Layout was designed in the shape of a cross which allows separation of different functional zones. There is a dining zone, living area, area with rooms for kids and sleeping area.
