Colourliving Showroom, a distinctive concept lifestyle store that brings together meticulously selected European home furniture, fittings, and lifestyle products, has tasked Lim + Lu to redesign the sanitary showroom of their flagship store in Hong Kong’s Wan Chai district.
Sim-Plex has renovated a 530 sq.ft old tenement apartment in Hong Kong, with a symbolic Arch- form cabinetry as a spine of the project. Three youths will moved into this 1970s old tenement apartment in one of oldest district, Kowloon City in Hong Kong.“The conflict between young people and old district is already an interesting point to us.
Pink, grey wall paint and golden frame furnishings brighten this 493 sq.ft pretty house in Hong Kong, which has been overhauled by Sim-Plex for a young lady. The client approached Sim-Plex to design the apartment to better suit her daily living sequence and reflect her personality. Make up table and a dress up corner are highlighted by her.
A chic, minimalist style is used in this 58 m2 mini apartment. While we may be used to seeing more traditional spaces for families to gather, there are plenty of ways to dress them up while still being practical. Custom furniture is made with flexibility to meet the requirements of household storage.
The 324 Gallery is an example of how small residential unit could be used efficiently and multi-functionally. Through integrating the concept of gallery, Sim-Plex created a unique, playful sense of space that suit not only to living, but also as an artwork showroom.
Concept of arc village – ” Village is a clustered of human settlement and symbolize for a communication of space. In our mind, we’ve got a simple and poetic image with a few village house surrounded by a little creek; a full moon is appeared to shine and light the skies, creating a dancing shadows of trees. ”
Project innovation / adjustable wooden furniture – In the living room, TV set, long bench, book shelf, display glass cabinet, lighting were all integrated into the featured bay window. The full height cabinet and small shoes cabinet nearby served with adjustable dining table, sliding bar table and two movable benches.
