The Chelsea SW10 is an interwar semi-detached property in a pocket of land to the rear of other gardens. The basement extends under the garden, with a metre of soil for sustainable drainage.

This new pavilion-like house designed by Atelier Andy Carson is a sanctuary from its harsh surrounds, perched on a sprawling coastal site overlooking Werri Beach, New South Wales. Green pastures and paddocks running dairy cows line this 150-acre property on one side, rugged coastal cliffs and ocean on the other.
This one-story 1960s ranch-style home had comparably little going for it beyond being situated on a pretty flat corner lot and a western private backyard orientation with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
