Villa K / Marion Regitko Architects
Villa K is organised around a raised ‘viewing platform’ which is slightly pushed into the top of a hill. The design of the house is a response to both the plot and the amazing surrounding views.

The design team for The Meadow Home was inspired by prominent views and beautiful slopes to build a structure on to the landscape to minimize its massing on the originally undeveloped site.
The new Bridge Residence turned the challenge of a sloping site into an opportunity to evoke quiet seclusion while creating a grand statement.
The beauty of this project is the site itself, which overlooks the Portsea Lagoon and Wildlife Reserve. First Lessons House sits low amongst the existing myrtle and tea-trees, at the back corner of the site.
On a large property in northwestern Connecticut, Deborah Berke Partners designed this modern house to frame a long view to the south. The Sackett Hill house offers numerous other physical and visual connections to the meadow outside and mountains beyond.
On this beautiful plateau, high on a ridge of the Santa Monica Mountains overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the intention was to respond with an elemental design that strengthens a connection to nature on a vast scale while navigating the natural topography and sculptural rock outcroppings with deft precision.
FIL house is a one and a half story single family home. The most characteristic aspect of the house is its roof, divided along its longer axis into two sections of different heights, creating a sense of two intersecting solids.
Set on a large semi-rural property, this single storey L-shaped modern house wraps a courtyard terrace and pool. The main wing includes a study facing the front garden, as well as an open plan living area and master bed adjacent to the terrace.
Beautifully situated on a rise overlooking Lake Calhoun, this dynamic modern home was designed to maximize views of the lake and the downtown skyline. In response to the deep urban lot, the house is set back from the street with three pavilions interconnected by transparent garden spaces.
The single house “olion” is situated in an olive grove with olive trees planted in the beginning of the 16th century, in Thassos island. The L-shaped villa, with its functional volumes distinctly separated, unfolds in two levels.
