The client, a single 40 years-old Greek has lived in Brazil for almost 8 years and requested the Atelier PECLAT+CHOW to completely renovate a 1960’s apartment located in the trendy neighborhood of Jardins, in São Paulo.
The concept for this Edgemont Family Home was inspired by the surrounding coastal rainforest and the homeowners love for mid-century design. To enter the house you are brought down several steps, through the soft pink front door, into the main floor of the home.
The Highland East House is a 4,300 square foot, five-bedroom, four-bathroom residence located in Portland’s SW Hills. The design harkens back to a Pacific Northwest style of mid-century modern houses constructed in Portland in the nineteen sixties.
