Casa dos Abraços is situated in the fishing village of Ferragudo, Algarve, Southern Portugal. The historic center of Ferragudo is an extremely sensitive area to work and we believe that our intervention should be balanced harmonious and above all integrate with the surrounding architecture.
The project was born from the idea to link the different spaces of the house by means of a unifying element. This concept was materialized employing a suspended ceiling that communicated both ends of the apartment and overlaid the existing elements and the new intervention.
Palazzo Doria Pamphilj as we know it today is the result of at least five different construction phases spanning four centuries. Through a process of successive agglomeration, the monumental complex finally became a unitarian urban block.

Engel House is a recreational villa near the spa town of Karlovy Vary. Built in a traditional form of Czech village house, the Engel House is located in Andelska Hora (originally Engelsburg) a protected area of the country just under the cliffs with ruins of a Gothic castle.
