Slate Cabin is a writer’s retreat perched on the edge of Snowdonia National Park in Mid Wales, United Kingdom. The building is set in a lush green valley that is ringed by barren, windswept hills and grazing pastures.
Foley Ridge Cabin is a bedroom addition to an archetypal single-room dwelling. The project is located in a pristine natural landscape, accessible by a rugged dirt trail and situated on a steeply sloped clearing with a long view to Blue Ridge Mountains.
This Lakeside Retreat was designed in 2016 by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson in association with Bohlin Grauman Miller.
