Nestled in a peninsula on Ossipee Lake, New Hampshire, the Anker Jordan cottage is formed by two conjoined prisms that provide an elegant and singular resolution to a wide range of desires and concerns.

We telescoped the Glen Park house apart to gain more height on all levels, and created a double-height entry volume at the street front. A kitchen by Henrybuilt dominates the open plan, and an extension at the back with large sliding doors opens to the garden beyond.
Casa Cielo Azul includes 2 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, office, wine cellar and covered terrace. Floor to ceiling glass in the kitchen, where the owners spend most of their time, fills the room with natural light. Indoor materials and floor treatments flow out onto an open terrace, further blurring the boundary between outdoors and in.
When you enter a penthouse duplex apartment and it feels like you’ve walked into a basement, something isn’t right. That is what happened when we first arrived to look at a project in the former parish house at St. George’s church.
SINBIN is a creative house balancing both natural and built environments. At it’s core, the space inspires action and activity. It is purpose-built for playing, making, and collaboration of all types.
The Lake View Residence takes full advantage of its location on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan with large expanses of glass maximizing lake views. Privacy is maintained on the street side with a winding drive and opaque/translucent materials.
The building materials played a large role in creating an industrial feel for the house, consisting of wood and steel trusses, concrete, and galvanized steel. The metal reinforces the idea that this is the type of building one would have historically found on this site.
Sited upon a coastal dune landscape, the St Joseph residence seeks proportional balance. Balance between elemental exposure and domestic intimacy of prospect and refuge. Balance between the natural and the manmade (in landscape, form, material, to color, texture, furnishings.)
