W O V E N Architecture and Design
WOVEN Architecture and Design, founded in 2020 by Julian Carnrite and Genevieve Graham on Salt Spring Island, specializes in West Coast Modern custom residential projects that seamlessly integrate architecture, landscape, and interiors. Guided by a philosophy of cohesion and simplicity, the studio emphasizes functional concepts translated into elegant forms, thoughtfully positioned within the Pacific Northwest’s distinctive environments. From initial client collaboration through construction, every decision—inside and out—reflects a commitment to clean lines, careful execution, and homes that feel both warm and timeless.
Principal Julian Carnrite, an AIBC-accredited architect with a Master of Architecture from Dalhousie University and experience across Vancouver, Toronto, and London, ensures each design balances proportion, scale, and purpose. Co-founder Genevieve Graham brings a rich background in fashion and interior design—honed through leading roles at Obakki and her own label—to craft personalized interiors and bespoke home objects. Together, they draw on diverse expertise and close client partnerships to create residences that embody strong ideas, refined craftsmanship, and a deep connection to their landscapes.
