Whit Preston is an Austin-based architectural photographer originally from Honolulu, educated at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. His photo career includes six years with Gehry Partners and four years working in New Zealand, equipping him with a deep understanding of both design narrative and technical storytelling.

Specializing in residential architecture, hotels and hospitality, portraits, commercial work, and Japan-focused projects, Whit collaborates with renowned architects and publishers such as Tim Cuppett Architects, Gehry Partners, Dwell magazine, Houses New Zealand, and MOCA Los Angeles. His work is distinguished by its clarity, compositional precision, and atmospheric engagement with spaces.
