ZUK Restaurant by Muro Studio brings together gastronomy, design, and emotion in a space where every detail contributes to a complete sensory experience. Located in the lively Puerto de Olivos district, the restaurant celebrates both craftsmanship and ambiance, offering a warm yet refined interpretation of contemporary dining.
A Theatrical Approach to Hospitality
Set within one of Zona Norte’s most vibrant new destinations, ZUK Restaurant presents an immersive architectural composition. The glass façade immediately draws attention, revealing a row of gleaming stainless steel tanks used for brewing craft beer on-site. This transparent gesture connects the interior with the street, turning production into part of the performance and inviting guests to engage from the very first moment.
Inside, the design embraces a careful balance between industrial precision and intimate atmosphere. Dark wood panels, metal accents, and linear compositions establish rhythm and structure. Soft amber lighting diffuses across the surfaces, wrapping the entire space in warmth and creating an elegant yet relaxed environment.
Interior Ambiance and Layout
The main dining room features an arrangement of wooden tables and gray-upholstered chairs, each illuminated by portable table lamps that reinforce the sense of privacy and comfort. The lighting strategy is both functional and atmospheric, allowing guests to focus on conversation and cuisine.
At the back of the space, a curved shelving installation—lined with suspended glassware—serves as a sculptural focal point. This subtle, sweeping gesture enhances spatial depth while echoing the curvature of the bar and the flow of the seating areas.
On the upper floor, the experience becomes more personal. The open kitchen, framed by glass, transforms culinary preparation into a visual narrative. Here, the boundaries between chef and guest disappear, creating a dynamic connection through transparency and movement.
