Fares Dhifi is a young designer from France, of Tunisian origin. One of his latest projects is Cafe Al maqha, a café with a unique design, as simple as beautiful. Looking at the pictures, I do not know why, but the words that come to my mind are those that say: valuable essences are kept in small bottles. The project is approached in an original manner, weaving minimalist and contemporary aspects in order to achieve a visual effect of a primary and pure aesthetics.

Fares Dhifi managed to give the cafe a well defined, particular identity. This happened in conditions where the option was for a minimalist approach that usually requires a vast experience in order to be able to convey the emotion and the message. The used materials are mainly wrought iron and wood. We also encounter design elements specific to the Tunisian culture. The whole concept of Cafe Al maqha evokes in a way, the architecture of the cities from the coast of Tunisia.
