Munich architecture studio IFUB recently converted an old chocolate factory into offices for the company Sauspiel GmbH. Built around 1870 “Chocolate Factory” is one of the oldest commercial buildings in this part of Berlin. The old factory building is located in the backyard of a compact city blocks in Berlin’s Neukölln district. The office is located on the mezzanine floor. All vertical, space-defining surfaces were kept in white, which makes for the spatial clarity. As a consequence, all the pieces of furniture were chosen in gray and black. Photographs Julia Klug
