Acuarela Bistro is part of a family business: Alexu and Andrei Toader (a former McCann Erickson art director and a young illustrator) and their parents. This place is a concept developed by Hello Menthol, brand engagement boutique, a relaxed hub where you can meet for a coffee with the coolest and creative people in the city.
Acuarela is an inviting space for the creative community in Bucharest, an art gallery endorser, jazz promoter, theatre plays host and social hub and the main financial tool for Imbold Cultural Foundation.
Acuarela is the bistro from the mansard of Imbold Gallery with a beautiful garden with colorful umbrellas that creates an informal community for the artists, a cozi space where people share their passion for art and joie de vivre.
The story has begun as a passion for art and interior design and now they are sharing it with new clients from the creative industries, art and new media fields.
There are so many cultural happenings such as: jam sessions, jazz concerts, theatre plays, art performances, live drawings.
The brand engagement agency Hello Menthol has planned the design of Acuarela Bistro with a group of great friends and artists. The concept came from a colorful mix of refurbished objects, beloved pieces of the past and artworks collected over the past five years.
