Latypi Residence in Mykonos / A31 Architecture
In a plot with significant slope and south orientation, located in Choulakia, Mykonos and overlooking Delos and Rineia islands, we decided to create a new, partly subterranean residence on two floors.

Overlooking a mountain lake, with sweeping views of the North Cascades, the Bear Creek Basecamp family home respects its rugged Methow Valley surroundings.
This linear cabin stretches out along the length of a site that overlooks a reservoir in southwest Washington. The Swift cabin sits behind a 35 foot buffer zone between the building and the edge of a cliff that is required due to unstable slopes.
The Corner Fold House is a compact, urban infill carefully crafted by Whittaker Parsons for a downsizing couple in south London. Sandwiched between a live substation and a short Victorian terrace, the Corner Fold House makes the most of the 3.9m wide plot.
Factory built in 4 sections and crane set in 8 hrs, this home was built for under $150/sf for a Architect’s family of four in the vibrant small town of Lawrence Kansas.
Corner View House was built by Architect and Certified Passivhaus Designer Tom Bell for his partner Sophie Bell managing director at the creative agency Toast and their family Isla (7yrs) and Ada (5yrs) and their dog Woody.
The In Between House is situated on a typical Vancouver lot within a post war neighbourhood with a mix of original 1950’s L plan modern bungalows, and post 1990’s infill houses.
Inspired by the conservation setting, it provides a contemporary interpretation of the surroundings whilst combining this with the requirements of the occupants to create a peaceful home.
