The contiguous images cheer us with an excellent project realized by the Romanian designer Hamid Nicola Katrib, a dental clinic for children, respectively Dent Estet 4 Kids from Bucharest. The basic idea was to create a colorful and cheerful oasis for children, a “wonderland” with garden scenes, with trees, birds and plants. All the decorative items are made on demand and customized down to the smallest detail.
Images and decors from the animal and plant world, letters of the alphabet and colored pencils, balloons and stars, penguins and puzzles, all make themselves remarked through the strong color accents and the paid attention to details. The special conceived design stimulates the children’s creativity and imagination. For the recovery area after dental interventions and for the consultation rooms, the designer chose to use more soothing pastel colors.
It was successfully solved a problem that occurs in the case of such projects, namely harmonizing and achieving balance between the decorative elements and the necessary technology to a dental clinic. The clinic has three offices furnished by certain themes: the puzzle cabinet, the pirates’ cabinet and the penguins’ cabinet. Clearly, the little ones are captivated by this garden of colors and probably the visit to the dentist will become more enjoyable. Photographs: Alex Melente
