Upholstery inspired by the Crazy Years: The Twenties collection

Upholstery inspired by the Crazy Years - The Twenties Collection - www.homeworlddesign.com

The Twenties collection represents the concretization of the collaboration between Missana, a spanish workshop with people in love with upholstery and the Masquespacio consultants that are recognized for the passion put into the service of design and creativity. Through this collection, Missana celebrates 20 years since the adventure has begun in the world of upholstery. The Twenties collection is inspired by the 20s, known in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom, as the Roaring Twenties and by French speakers as Annees Folles – Crazy Years to emphasize the social dynamism, artistic and cultural of the era. It is the period in which the Art Deco current has reached its climax.

Taking as reference the Crazy Years, Missana uses for this collection, new fabrics and materials, an elegant and fresh facelift that comes with new textures, colours and emotions. Through this project, Missana wishes to be part of people’s lifestyle, offering a fresh and modern design with which people can identify. The stylistic conception combines refinement with naturalness, providing durable and comfortable pieces of furniture that give a sense of peace, rest and harmony. The Twenties Collection has benefited of Masquespacio consultants’ contribution regarding the artistic conception, inclusively the choice of new colours and materials. Via Missana and Masquespacio.
