Fazenda Boa Vista House by Ana Weege is a spacious retreat located in a gated community in the interior of São Paulo. Designed as a weekend haven, the house welcomes family and friends with its open, integrated layout. The project aims to create a large porch-like atmosphere, where every room offers a view of the entire space and the garden beyond.

Open, Integrated Design

The design minimizes walls and uses large glass enclosures to invite natural light and create a sense of openness. As a result, residents can easily observe the dynamic flow of the spaces from any room. The use of few curtains further enhances this airy feel. The overall aesthetic is deliberately monobloc, with concrete, wood, and shades of gray repeated throughout the house. Porcelain tiles cover the entire ground floor and even extend into the garden, flowing seamlessly onto the pool area.

Elegant Materiality and Interior Comfort

On the ground floor, wood adorns the ceiling, while on the upper floor, the same material warms the floor. This consistent material palette builds a calm, unified atmosphere. Meanwhile, the interior design adds coziness through textured fabrics, rugs, and a curated mix of vintage and contemporary furniture—a blend that the design team loves. The design creates both a modern look and a welcoming, lived-in feel.

Functional Spaces for Modern Living

The house features six suites, divided evenly with three on the ground floor—located next to the gym—and three on the upper floor. This clear division preserves family space and adds intimacy. Additionally, a TV room with home office support completes the living area, offering versatile spaces for relaxation and work.

Thoughtful Service Areas

The service block, which includes the kitchen, service area, and an employee apartment, also gained a well-defined space. By placing employee circulation to the side of the house, the design preserves the privacy of the residents. Moreover, the semi-Olympic pool with a 25-meter lane becomes a standout feature, inviting outdoor activity and leisure.

In summary, Fazenda Boa Vista House successfully combines a minimalist, monobloc architectural language with warm, inviting interior details. The result is a modern, integrated home that not only meets the practical needs of a family but also creates an intimate atmosphere that connects seamlessly with its lush garden surroundings.
